Bhediya Movie Plot
In the role of Bhaskar, Varun Dhawan goes to a town in Arunachal Pradesh with his cousin, Janardhan (called “Jana”), due to a development project for the construction of roads in that area. Panda and Jomin, being locals, guide them in that town.
But one night, a wolf chases and bites Bhaskar. Jomin and Jana take him to Dr. Anika, who practiced as a local veterinarian. Bhaskar remains in extreme pain, and Dr. Anika gives him an injection.
From the next day, Bhaskar feels certain changes, like a heightened sense of smell and communication skills with animals.
Later, problems arise as the locals do not agree to allow the construction of roads by cutting down trees. Bhaskar manages to convince them, but two people involved in the project get killed, and their dead bodies seem mauled by a wild animal.
Later, Jana and Jomin began doubting Bhaskar and performing stool tests by secretly acquiring his stool. They understood that Bhaskar was the werewolf as there were traces of human bones in his stools. They lock him up in a place to save him from future troubles. He later visits the same old place on a new moon night to be cured of his problem by getting bitten by the same werewolf. However, things change as he discovers that the werewolf in the jungle is Dr. Anika, who had been attacking people who intended to cut down the forest’s trees.
Anika gets caught and shot by the police. Bhaskar tries to protect her by chasing and killing the police officers after getting transformed into a wolf. But Anika dies. Bhaskar makes the decision to construct roads without causing harm to the forest areas.
