Pathan Movie Plot
The Government of India took a step to revoke Article 370 in 2019, which gave special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The news had an Impact on Qadir, who was the army general of Pakistan and suffered from cancer. He decides to take revenge on India and makes an agreement with the leader of a terrorist organization, Jim.
At the same time, a former RAW agent named Pathan opens “Joint Operations and Covert Research” (JOCR) Along with a senior officer named Nandini Grewal. The unit aimed to give recruitment to RAW agents who had to retire because of injuries or past trauma but had a will for service to the country.
The unit wanted to stop Outfit X from attacking the President of India at a conference. However, they understand later that it was a rumor and the terrorists actually wanted to kidnap the scientists Dr. Sahani and Dr. Farooqui. Jim succeeds in fleeing with Dr. Sahani. Luthra makes a revelation that Jim was also a RAW agent and had accompanied Kabir, who received the Vir Puraskar award with the Vir Puraskar after his body could not be found after terrorists of Somalia killed his wife and child. Pathan gets to know that Kabir is actually alive and wants to seek revenge on the agency for not being able to save his family.
Pathan also learns about the significance of the codeword dubbed “Raktbeej.” He also knows that the people who died in Dubai were former agents, and they had their money transferred from Rubina “Rubai” Mohsin’s account. He visits Spain, and Jim’s men capture him. He also gets to know that Rubai is a former ISI agent. When Jim comes out of his hideout, Rubai makes an attack on Jim’s men and gets away with Pathan. Rubai tells Pathan that Raktbeej is present in Moscow. They visit Moscow to steal it, but there is a twist in the movie when Rubai helps the police to capture Pathan. Later, it was revealed that it was all Jim’s plan to use Pathan to take the Raktabeej for him. However, when Pathan gets captured and imprisoned, Tiger saves him.
After three years, Pathan goes to Africa and catches hold of Raafe, Jim’s henchman. Pathan and Nandini discuss Jim buying saber missiles and Rubai staying in Paris. Pathan gets to know from Rubai that the Raktbeej is nothing but a mutated smallpox virus that Jim forced Dr. Sahani to develop. She also feels guilty for betraying Pathan. They get an orb consisting of the virus, with much difficulty, while Jim runs away with another orb.
Luthra and Nandini go to Jim’s lab to get hold of the orb to perform research on it to develop a vaccine. Luthra gets Rubai arrested. Nandini gets to know that the virus has already spread, and all of them kill themselves to prevent its further spread. Jim asks the Indian soldiers to come out of Kashmir in a day. Pathan gets to know from Raafe that the missile is in Afghanistan.
They rescue Rubai and succeed in luring Jim’s people into a trap. They also attack his base. Rubai kills Qadir before the missile gets activated. Pathan attacks Jim with a jetpack, and Rubai finds out that the virus is not in the missile but in a flight that is supposed to land in Delhi. In the end, Pathan succeeds in killing Jim and takes away his Vir Puraskar. Pathan is brought back to RAW, and he is made the head of JCOR.
